# StudyAgent

ADHS-friendly study buddy: helps students with ADHS get through their semester.
No rigid plans — micro-steps, buddy tone, dopamine at task START not completion.

## Status

MVP shipped. Browser E2E test and past-deadline edge case pending.

## Run

## What works

- Dashboard — active subjects, next deadlines, next step, session banner, panic indicators
- Subjects CRUD — WIP limit of 2 enforced server-side
- Deadlines — auto-generates micro-steps via MiniMax M2.5 on creation
- Steps — complete/skip inline (htmx), next step loads automatically
- Elastic plan — auto-compresses when steps exceed remaining time
- Replan — deletes pending+skipped, generates fresh
- Session tracking — auto-start, auto-close after 30 min inactivity
- Panic mode — triggers at <48h, reduces to 3-4 essential steps
- AI fallback — works without MINIMAX_API_KEY (dummy steps)
