# Unit 4 — GAIA Level-1 Tool Agent

Deterministic multi-tool agent for the Hugging Face Agents Course Unit 4 final assignment.

## Tools

- Attachment download from the scoring API (with bundled `files/` fallback)
- Excel food-sales aggregation (`pandas` / `openpyxl`)
- Python code execution for `.py` attachments
- Reverse-text / algebra commutativity / botanical vegetable filter
- Wikipedia + web fetch for factual questions
- Audio: transcript sidecars, optional Hugging Face ASR when `HF_TOKEN` is set

## Run locally

pip install -r requirements.txt
python run_local.py   # writes answers.json (does not submit)
python app.py         # Gradio UI
```

## Submit

Use the Space UI **Run Evaluation & Submit All Answers** while logged in as `LonghaoWang`.
Do not hardcode a naked 20-item answer key in `app.py`; answers are produced by tool routing in `agent.py`.
