# TeleOCR – Image Text Reader

Upload an image and this application uses AI to extract printed text from it.

## Model

This application uses **XingChen-AGI/TeleOCR** from the Hugging Face Hub.

## Why I Chose This Model

I chose TeleOCR because it is designed for optical character recognition and can process images containing printed text. It is suitable for an OCR application where a user uploads an image and receives the extracted text.

## How to Use

1. Upload an image containing printed text.
2. Click **Extract Text**.
3. The detected text will appear in the output box.

## Limitations

The OCR result may be inaccurate for blurry images, handwritten text, unusual fonts, low-resolution images, or complex layouts.
