Candidate Honor Code

Our verifiable credentials carry weight because employers, recruiters, and engineering leaders know every GetCert certificate is grounded in authentic, rigorously tested candidate capability.

Standard: Academic & Technical Integrity Mandate
{/* Core Principles Grid */}
{/* Card 1 */}

1. Independent Candidate Assessment

Strict anti-proxy & individual verification

Every assessment attempt must be completed solely by the registered candidate. The use of proxy test-takers, automated script solvers, answer-sharing syndicates, or unauthorized external assistance during dynamic knowledge evaluations is strictly prohibited.

  • Candidates must not share active session credentials or assessment questions with third parties.
  • Dynamic assessment algorithms randomize prompt formulations to ensure unique candidate evaluations.
{/* Card 2 */}

2. Authentic Code Ownership (VerifiedCert™)

Original repository contributions & capstone validation

For VerifiedCert™ project certifications, all submitted GitHub repositories must reflect the candidate’s authentic engineering contributions. Forking un-modified public templates or claiming authorship over third-party open-source repositories constitutes a material breach of the Honor Code.

  • Candidate git commit histories are audited for author identity, commit cadence, and code originality.
  • Candidates must defend design choices and architectural tradeoffs during the dynamic project viva.
{/* Card 3 */}

3. Credential Authenticity & Integrity

Verifiable authentic trust for industry

Each issued certificate carries a permanent verification identifier and authentic digital record. Attempting to alter certificates, falsify issuer signatures, or forge verification URLs will result in immediate revocation and account suspension.

{/* Card 4 - Violations & Penalties */}

4. Enforcement & Credential Revocation

Zero tolerance for bad-faith submissions

GetCert reserves the unconditional right to audit, suspend, or permanently revoke any certificate where evidence of plagiarism, fraud, or misrepresentation is uncovered, even after the credential has been issued.

Audit Triggers Submissions exhibiting anomalous speed, identical code hashes, or plagiarized viva responses undergo senior review.
Consequences Revoked credentials display a permanent "REVOKED / INVALID" notice on their public verification URL.
