# WiscoHumanoids

Robot learning datasets and policies from the WiscoHumanoids team. Everything here is public.

## Uploading data

Join this org with the invite link from a lead, then log in on the machine you record from:

```bash
hf auth login
```

Record with LeRobot straight into the org:

```bash
lerobot-record ... --dataset.repo_id=WiscoHumanoidsLab/<dataset_name>
```

Or upload a dataset you already recorded:

```bash
hf upload WiscoHumanoidsLab/<dataset_name> path/to/dataset --repo-type dataset
```

## Naming

Datasets: `<subteam>_<robot>_<task>_v<N>`, e.g. `manipulation_alohamini_cube_place_v1`. Use your subteam's name from Discord (manipulation, locomotion, firmware, hands, arms, ...).

Policies: `<policy>_<dataset>`, e.g. `act_manipulation_alohamini_cube_place_v1`.

Use the Apache-2.0 license (LeRobot's default) unless there's a reason not to.

## Access

New members join as **contributors**: you can create repos and push to the ones you made, but you can't change or delete anyone else's. If several people need to record into the same dataset, ask a lead for write access.
