# Decoding Parliament — API

Retrieval-augmented question answering over the official transcripts of Myanmar's Union Parliament (2011–2020):
158,945 indexed passages, SEA-LION-E5 embeddings fused with a Burmese-syllable BM25 index, answers generated only
from retrieved passages with [n] citations.

`POST /ask` with `{"question": "...", "k": 5}` → answer, model, passages with citations. `GET /health` for status.
Interactive docs at `/docs`. Rate-limited per IP; nothing is logged.
