# AsynChow Minutes Code
|
| 15 |
+
|
| 16 |
+
This is a fully fine-tuned Qwen2.5-1.5B-Instruct model trained on the Code
|
| 17 |
+
representation of AsynChow. Code edge weights are numeric durations in minutes.
|
| 18 |
+
It is the Code counterpart of the unit-normalized Natural and Graph runs.
|
| 19 |
+
|
| 20 |
+
## Training protocol
|
| 21 |
+
|
| 22 |
+
- Source training pool: 1,373 aligned examples
|
| 23 |
+
- Training split: 1,235 examples
|
| 24 |
+
- Validation split: 138 examples (`val_size: 0.1`)
|
| 25 |
+
- Epochs: 2
|
| 26 |
+
- Per-device batch size: 1
|
| 27 |
+
- Gradient accumulation: 8
|
| 28 |
+
- Learning rate: `1e-5`
|
| 29 |
+
- Scheduler: cosine
|
| 30 |
+
- Warmup ratio: `0.05`
|
| 31 |
+
- Precision: BF16
|
| 32 |
+
- Fine-tuning: full parameter
|
| 33 |
+
- Final optimizer step: 310
|
| 34 |
+
- Base model: `Qwen/Qwen2.5-1.5B-Instruct`
|
| 35 |
+
|
| 36 |
+
The validation split is evaluated after training. Since `eval_steps` is 500
|
| 37 |
+
and training finishes at step 310, it is not used for intermediate checkpoint
|
| 38 |
+
selection.
|
| 39 |
+
|
| 40 |
+
## Evaluation
|
| 41 |
+
|
| 42 |
+
The model was greedily evaluated on all 225 aligned test questions in each
|
| 43 |
+
representation using the scorer released with the source project.
|
| 44 |
+
|
| 45 |
+
| Test representation | Correct | Accuracy |
|
| 46 |
+
|---|---:|---:|
|
| 47 |
+
| Natural (minutes) | 15 / 225 | 6.67% |
|
| 48 |
+
| Graph (minutes) | 1 / 225 | 0.44% |
|
| 49 |
+
| Code (minutes) | 101 / 225 | 44.89% |
|
| 50 |
+
|
| 51 |
+
All 675 generations had valid answer tags, no parsing errors, and a normal
|
| 52 |
+
stop finish reason.
|
| 53 |
+
|
| 54 |
+
## Data provenance and limitations
|
| 55 |
+
|
| 56 |
+
The transformed data comes from the AsynChow files released in
|
| 57 |
+
[`fangru-lin/procedure_generalization_llm`](https://github.com/fangru-lin/procedure_generalization_llm)
|
| 58 |
+
at commit `d9bf3485cd41c1050d33471d922c826f474efec1`. The local source materials did
|
| 59 |
+
not include an explicit dataset license, so users should review the upstream
|
| 60 |
+
repository and obtain any permissions required for their intended use.
|
| 61 |
+
|
| 62 |
+
This model is intended for research on procedural reasoning and
|
| 63 |
+
cross-representation transfer. It should not be treated as a general-purpose
|
| 64 |
+
assistant or as a reliable planner for safety-critical applications.
