+ The Welcome showcase rebuilt from pod graphs. Apart from the Panda arm, everything in the scene is a
10
+ procedural pod graph rather than an imported GLB: the room and its three paintings, the prop tray with
11
+ its cube, cone, sphere and cylinder, the Lucky Robots logo, the four steel balls and the marble run
12
+ itself. The run is 29 pieces made from nine parametric piece graphs in Assets/MarbleRun (straight, turn,
13
+ wave, catch, reducer, bowl, rails, end cup and pole), each textured with a wood grain that follows the
14
+ piece; the tray and the logo use the same wood. As in the original, a C# script drives the Panda through
15
+ the MG_Panda_Pod_IK motion graph, picking each ball out of the end cup and dropping it back at the top,
16
+ so the run keeps going on its own.
17
+ Two scenes. Welcome is the start scene. It ships the convex collision hulls for every track piece
18
+ (Assets/Physics/ConvexHulls), so Play needs no bake; in testing, 150 s of Play gave 23 laps with no
19
+ ball stuck. Welcome-Generated is an experiment: the whole run is one pod graph
20
+ (MarbleRun/generated_run), whose Run / Seed parameter lays out a different run for every seed, with
21
+ every piece standing on a pole. Seed -1, as shipped, rebuilds the Welcome layout. Its piece bodies are
22
+ made when the graph cooks, so their hulls cannot be stored in the scene. The first Play on each machine
23
+ therefore bakes them with CoACD (about 46 s for the shipped seed on the machine it was built on), and
24
+ later Plays load them from the project's Cache folder. Changing the seed bakes only the pieces whose
25
+ shape is new.
26
+ The marble-run graphs are generated by the pod repository's marble-run tools
27
+ (tools/make_marble_run.py, tools/install_marble_run.py). Change a piece there and re-install it;
28
+ don't edit the .hpodgraph files by hand.
29
+ NOT INCLUDED: the bake and MuJoCo model caches (Cache/), compiled scripts (the C# project builds on
30
+ first open from Assets/Scripts/Source and the scene scripts), and per-user editor files.
