Reflect-R1: Evidence-Driven Reflection for Self-Correction in Long Video Understanding

Current multimodal reflection mechanisms for long video understanding predominantly rely on closed-loop self-reflection within internal parameters. Lacking objective external evidence, models are frequently trapped in blind confidence and often fail to correct errors. Furthermore, applying reinforcement learning to multi-stage reflection pipelines introduces severe policy coupling, which is exacerbated by a critical scarcity of dedicated training data. To address these limitations, this work proposes Reflect-R1, the first Evidence-Driven self-correction framework for long video understanding. The framework constructs a three-stage pipeline consisting of intuition, verification, and arbitration. By dynamically retrieving objective visual evidence to verify initial intuitions and autonomously executing multiple temporal searches to resolve conflicts, it completely breaks the hallucination loop. To overcome policy coupling, we design a stage-decoupled reinforcement learning algorithm named SD-GRPO that independently computes advantage functions across different reasoning stages. Concurrently, we construct a dataset of 120K samples to bridge the training data gap. Extensive experiments on benchmarks such as VideoMME and LongVideoBench demonstrate that Reflect-R1 achieves state-of-the-art performance. Our method significantly improves the genuine rectification rate and enables authentic self-correction strictly grounded in objective evidence.

OriGen:Enhancing RTL Code Generation with Code-to-Code Augmentation and Self-Reflection

Recent studies have illuminated that Large Language Models (LLMs) exhibit substantial potential in the realm of RTL (Register Transfer Level) code generation, with notable advancements evidenced by commercial models such as GPT-4 and Claude3-Opus. Despite their proficiency, these commercial LLMs often raise concerns regarding privacy and security. Conversely, open-source LLMs, which offer solutions to these concerns, have inferior performance in RTL code generation tasks to commercial models due to the lack of highquality open-source RTL datasets. To address this issue, we introduce OriGen, a fully open-source framework featuring self-reflection capabilities and a dataset augmentation methodology for generating high-quality, large-scale RTL code. We propose a novel code-to-code augmentation methodology that leverages knowledge distillation to enhance the quality of the open-source RTL code datasets. Additionally, OriGen is capable of correcting syntactic errors by leveraging a self-reflection process based on feedback from the compiler. The self-reflection ability of the model is facilitated by a carefully constructed dataset, which comprises a comprehensive collection of samples. Experimental results demonstrate that OriGen remarkably outperforms other open-source alternatives in RTL code generation, surpassing the previous best-performing LLM by 9.8% on the VerilogEval-Human benchmark. Furthermore, OriGen exhibits superior capabilities in self-reflection and error rectification, surpassing GPT-4 by 18.1% on the benchmark designed to evaluate the capability of self-reflection.

Style-Adaptive Detection Transformer for Single-Source Domain Generalized Object Detection

Single-source domain generalization (SDG) in object detection aims to develop a detector using only source domain data that generalizes well to unseen target domains. Existing methods are primarily CNN-based and improve robustness through data augmentation combined with feature alignment. However, these methods are limited, as augmentation is only effective when the synthetic distribution approximates that of unseen domains, thus failing to ensure generalization across diverse scenarios. While DEtection TRansformer (DETR) has shown strong generalization in domain adaptation due to global context modeling, its potential for SDG remains underexplored. To this end, we propose Style-Adaptive DEtection TRansformer (SA-DETR), a DETR-based detector tailored for SDG. SA-DETR introduces an online domain style adapter that projects the style representation of unseen domains into the source domain via a dynamic memory bank. This bank self-organizes into diverse style prototypes and is continuously updated under a test-time adaptation framework, enabling effective style rectification. Additionally, we design an object-aware contrastive learning module to promote extraction of domain-invariant features. By applying gating masks that constrain contrastive learning in both spatial and semantic dimensions, this module facilitates instance-level cross-domain contrast and enhances generalization. Extensive experiments across five distinct weather scenarios demonstrate that SA-DETR consistently outperforms existing methods in both detection accuracy and domain generalization capability.

Tyche: One Step Flow for Efficient Probabilistic Weather Forecasting

Probabilistic weather forecasting requires not only accurate trajectories, but calibrated distributions over plausible atmospheric futures. Recent data-driven systems have achieved remarkable deterministic skill, and diffusion-based ensemble forecasters have substantially improved sample realism and uncertainty quantification. However, their inference cost scales with forecast horizon, ensemble size, and the number of denoising steps required for each transition, making large operational ensembles expensive. To address this, we present Tyche, a one-step conditional flow model for efficient probabilistic weather forecasting. Tyche models the conditional forecast distribution with a destination-aware average-velocity flow that maps Gaussian noise directly to future weather states in a single function evaluation (1-NFE). To make this one-step transport learnable in high-dimensional geophysical fields, we derive a JVP-regularized rectification objective that enforces temporal self-consistency across source and destination flow timesteps without explicitly forming Jacobians. The transport field is parameterized by an isotropic Swin-style transformer that preserves fine-scale spatial structure while remaining scalable on global grids. To improve ensemble reliability under autoregressive forecasting, we further introduce a rollout-based finetuning stage with curriculum CRPS calibration supervision. Experiments on ERA5 at 1.5^circ and 6-hour resolution show that our Tyche, using merely a single NFE, matches or exceeds the forecast skill and calibration of state-of-the-art multi-step generative baselines and the operational ECMWF IFS ensemble.
