ZPressor: Bottleneck-Aware Compression for Scalable Feed-Forward 3DGS

Feed-forward 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) models have recently emerged as a promising solution for novel view synthesis, enabling one-pass inference without the need for per-scene 3DGS optimization. However, their scalability is fundamentally constrained by the limited capacity of their encoders, leading to degraded performance or excessive memory consumption as the number of input views increases. In this work, we analyze feed-forward 3DGS frameworks through the lens of the Information Bottleneck principle and introduce ZPressor, a lightweight architecture-agnostic module that enables efficient compression of multi-view inputs into a compact latent state Z that retains essential scene information while discarding redundancy. Concretely, ZPressor enables existing feed-forward 3DGS models to scale to over 100 input views at 480P resolution on an 80GB GPU, by partitioning the views into anchor and support sets and using cross attention to compress the information from the support views into anchor views, forming the compressed latent state Z. We show that integrating ZPressor into several state-of-the-art feed-forward 3DGS models consistently improves performance under moderate input views and enhances robustness under dense view settings on two large-scale benchmarks DL3DV-10K and RealEstate10K. The video results, code and trained models are available on our project page: https://lhmd.top/zpressor.

RoboPearls: Editable Video Simulation for Robot Manipulation

The development of generalist robot manipulation policies has seen significant progress, driven by large-scale demonstration data across diverse environments. However, the high cost and inefficiency of collecting real-world demonstrations hinder the scalability of data acquisition. While existing simulation platforms enable controlled environments for robotic learning, the challenge of bridging the sim-to-real gap remains. To address these challenges, we propose RoboPearls, an editable video simulation framework for robotic manipulation. Built on 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS), RoboPearls enables the construction of photo-realistic, view-consistent simulations from demonstration videos, and supports a wide range of simulation operators, including various object manipulations, powered by advanced modules like Incremental Semantic Distillation (ISD) and 3D regularized NNFM Loss (3D-NNFM). Moreover, by incorporating large language models (LLMs), RoboPearls automates the simulation production process in a user-friendly manner through flexible command interpretation and execution. Furthermore, RoboPearls employs a vision-language model (VLM) to analyze robotic learning issues to close the simulation loop for performance enhancement. To demonstrate the effectiveness of RoboPearls, we conduct extensive experiments on multiple datasets and scenes, including RLBench, COLOSSEUM, Ego4D, Open X-Embodiment, and a real-world robot, which demonstrate our satisfactory simulation performance.

UniWorld-View: Large-Baseline View Synthesis via Video Diffusion Models

The abundance of casually captured monocular videos and images on social media provides a valuable source for immersive content creation, where generating novel views from such sparse observations can greatly enhance user experiences. However, producing photorealistic and geometrically consistent views with precise camera control remains challenging when input coverage is extremely limited. Reconstruction-based approaches such as NeRF and 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) deteriorate severely under sparse inputs and fail to explicitly handle occlusions. Generative methods ease data requirements but still struggle with large-baseline view synthesis due to inaccurate or implicit geometric guidance. To overcome these limitations, we introduce UniWorld-View, a unified framework for controllable large-baseline novel view synthesis from monocular inputs. UniWorld-View integrates explicit 3D guidance with generative diffusion modeling to enable precise camera control and geometrically consistent view generation. The geometric guidance is obtained through an occlusion-aware point cloud rendering strategy that resolves visibility ambiguities and provides accurate priors for diffusion-based synthesis. By coupling this rendering strategy with powerful video diffusion backbones, UniWorld-View achieves high-fidelity novel view generation even under extreme camera motions and wide-baseline changes, and can further provide multi-view videos for downstream dynamic 3DGS reconstruction. Experiments on the WorldScore benchmark and zero-shot NVS benchmarks demonstrate the effectiveness of UniWorld-View in controllability, geometric consistency, and visual fidelity.

GSFixer: Improving 3D Gaussian Splatting with Reference-Guided Video Diffusion Priors

Reconstructing 3D scenes using 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) from sparse views is an ill-posed problem due to insufficient information, often resulting in noticeable artifacts. While recent approaches have sought to leverage generative priors to complete information for under-constrained regions, they struggle to generate content that remains consistent with input observations. To address this challenge, we propose GSFixer, a novel framework designed to improve the quality of 3DGS representations reconstructed from sparse inputs. The core of our approach is the reference-guided video restoration model, built upon a DiT-based video diffusion model trained on paired artifact 3DGS renders and clean frames with additional reference-based conditions. Considering the input sparse views as references, our model integrates both 2D semantic features and 3D geometric features of reference views extracted from the visual geometry foundation model, enhancing the semantic coherence and 3D consistency when fixing artifact novel views. Furthermore, considering the lack of suitable benchmarks for 3DGS artifact restoration evaluation, we present DL3DV-Res which contains artifact frames rendered using low-quality 3DGS. Extensive experiments demonstrate our GSFixer outperforms current state-of-the-art methods in 3DGS artifact restoration and sparse-view 3D reconstruction. Holi-Spatial: Evolving Video Streams into Holistic 3D Spatial Intelligence

The pursuit of spatial intelligence fundamentally relies on access to large-scale, fine-grained 3D data. However, existing approaches predominantly construct spatial understanding benchmarks by generating question-answer (QA) pairs from a limited number of manually annotated datasets, rather than systematically annotating new large-scale 3D scenes from raw web data. As a result, their scalability is severely constrained, and model performance is further hindered by domain gaps inherent in these narrowly curated datasets. In this work, we propose Holi-Spatial, the first fully automated, large-scale, spatially-aware multimodal dataset, constructed from raw video inputs without human intervention, using the proposed data curation pipeline. Holi-Spatial supports multi-level spatial supervision, ranging from geometrically accurate 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) reconstructions with rendered depth maps to object-level and relational semantic annotations, together with corresponding spatial Question-Answer (QA) pairs. Following a principled and systematic pipeline, we further construct Holi-Spatial-4M, the first large-scale, high-quality 3D semantic dataset, containing 12K optimized 3DGS scenes, 1.3M 2D masks, 320K 3D bounding boxes, 320K instance captions, 1.2M 3D grounding instances, and 1.2M spatial QA pairs spanning diverse geometric, relational, and semantic reasoning tasks. Holi-Spatial demonstrates exceptional performance in data curation quality, significantly outperforming existing feed-forward and per-scene optimized methods on datasets such as ScanNet, ScanNet++, and DL3DV. Furthermore, fine-tuning Vision-Language Models (VLMs) on spatial reasoning tasks using this dataset has also led to substantial improvements in model performance.

TryOnCrafter: Unleashing Camera Trajectories for Realistic Video Virtual Try-on via a Renderable 4D Try-on Proxy

While Video Virtual Try-on (VVT) has achieved remarkable progress in synthesizing realistic garment overlays on dynamic subjects, existing paradigms remains fundamentally constrained by a passive dependency on source camera trajectories, failing to accommodate the requisite interactive freedom for omnidirectional viewpoint exploration. To address this limitation, we define a pioneering research frontier: Camera-controllable Video Virtual Try-on (CaM-VVT). Unlike conventional VVT, CaM-VVT not only necessitates viewpoint-agnostic texture hallucination but also strict structural synchronization between non-rigid human dynamics and background contexts under arbitrary, unconstrained camera movements. To tackle these challenges, we present TryOnCrafter, the first unified DiT-based framework specifically architected for the CaM-VVT task. Departing from implicit pixel-space manipulation, we introduce a Renderable 4D Try-on Proxy that explicitly decouples the human subject from the environment. This is achieved by distilling high-fidelity 2D try-on priors into a clothed 3DGS-based avatar, which is subsequently animated via SMPL-X sequences and metric-aligned into a reconstructed background point cloud. This proxy establishes a robust structural foundation with superior texture density and motion integrity. Our Proxy-Anchored Video DiT leverages this robust structural foundation as a primary geometric anchor, ensuring that the synthesized photorealistic videos are strictly constrained by prescribed trajectories and physically plausible deformations. Benefiting from the inherent editability of the 4D proxy, TryOnCrafter facilitates diverse downstream applications, including human relocalization, ``bullet time'' effects, and 360-degree orbital viewing.

Deblur4DGS: 4D Gaussian Splatting from Blurry Monocular Video

Recent 4D reconstruction methods have yielded impressive results but rely on sharp videos as supervision. However, motion blur often occurs in videos due to camera shake and object movement, while existing methods render blurry results when using such videos for reconstructing 4D models. Although a few approaches attempted to address the problem, they struggled to produce high-quality results, due to the inaccuracy in estimating continuous dynamic representations within the exposure time. Encouraged by recent works in 3D motion trajectory modeling using 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS), we take 3DGS as the scene representation manner, and propose Deblur4DGS to reconstruct a high-quality 4D model from blurry monocular video. Specifically, we transform continuous dynamic representations estimation within an exposure time into the exposure time estimation. Moreover, we introduce the exposure regularization term, multi-frame, and multi-resolution consistency regularization term to avoid trivial solutions. Furthermore, to better represent objects with large motion, we suggest blur-aware variable canonical Gaussians. Beyond novel-view synthesis, Deblur4DGS can be applied to improve blurry video from multiple perspectives, including deblurring, frame interpolation, and video stabilization. Extensive experiments in both synthetic and real-world data on the above four tasks show that Deblur4DGS outperforms state-of-the-art 4D reconstruction methods. WorldWarp: Propagating 3D Geometry with Asynchronous Video Diffusion

Generating long-range, geometrically consistent video presents a fundamental dilemma: while consistency demands strict adherence to 3D geometry in pixel space, state-of-the-art generative models operate most effectively in a camera-conditioned latent space. This disconnect causes current methods to struggle with occluded areas and complex camera trajectories. To bridge this gap, we propose WorldWarp, a framework that couples a 3D structural anchor with a 2D generative refiner. To establish geometric grounding, WorldWarp maintains an online 3D geometric cache built via Gaussian Splatting (3DGS). By explicitly warping historical content into novel views, this cache acts as a structural scaffold, ensuring each new frame respects prior geometry. However, static warping inevitably leaves holes and artifacts due to occlusions. We address this using a Spatio-Temporal Diffusion (ST-Diff) model designed for a "fill-and-revise" objective. Our key innovation is a spatio-temporal varying noise schedule: blank regions receive full noise to trigger generation, while warped regions receive partial noise to enable refinement. By dynamically updating the 3D cache at every step, WorldWarp maintains consistency across video chunks. Consequently, it achieves state-of-the-art fidelity by ensuring that 3D logic guides structure while diffusion logic perfects texture. FlowLong: Inference-time Long Video Generation via Manifold-constrained Tweedie Matching

Extending the generation horizon of video diffusion models to long sequences remains a long-standing and important challenge. Existing training-free approaches fall into two categories: extensions of bidirectional models, which are tightly coupled to specific architectures and suffer from quality degradation over long horizons, and autoregressive models, which accumulate drift errors due to exposure bias and tend to produce repetitive motion patterns. To address these issues, we propose a novel but simple inference-time approach for long video generation that is architecture-agnostic and requires no additional training. Our method generates long videos via overlapping sliding windows, where predicted clean samples from adjacent windows are blended via Tweedie matching to enforce both manifold constraint and temporal consistency across overlap regions. Stochastic early-phase sampling then synchronizes per-window trajectories by injecting fresh noise after each Tweedie matching correction in the high-noise phase, before transitioning to deterministic ODE sampling to preserve fine-grained visual fidelity. Applied to various video generation models, our method generates videos several times longer than the native window length while outperforming both training-free and autoregressive baselines in temporal consistency and visual quality, and further extends to audio-video joint generation and text-to-3DGS without any fine-tuning.

Rein3D: Reinforced 3D Indoor Scene Generation with Panoramic Video Diffusion Models

The growing demand for Embodied AI and VR applications has highlighted the need for synthesizing high-quality 3D indoor scenes from sparse inputs. However, existing approaches struggle to infer massive amounts of missing geometry in large unseen areas while maintaining global consistency, often producing locally plausible but globally inconsistent reconstructions. We present Rein3D, a framework that reconstructs full 360-degree indoor environments by coupling explicit 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) with temporally coherent priors from video diffusion models. Our approach follows a "restore-and-refine" paradigm: we employ a radial exploration strategy to render imperfect panoramic videos along trajectories starting from the origin, effectively uncovering occluded regions from a coarse 3DGS initialization. These sequences are restored by a panoramic video-to-video diffusion model and further enhanced via video super-resolution to synthesize high-fidelity geometry and textures. Finally, these refined videos serve as pseudo-ground truths to update the global 3D Gaussian field. To support this task, we construct PanoV2V-15K, a dataset of over 15K paired clean and degraded panoramic videos for diffusion-based scene restoration. Experiments demonstrate that Rein3D produces photorealistic and globally consistent 3D scenes and significantly improves long-range camera exploration compared with existing baselines.

SpectralSplats: Robust Differentiable Tracking via Spectral Moment Supervision

3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) enables real-time, photorealistic novel view synthesis, making it a highly attractive representation for model-based video tracking. However, leveraging the differentiability of the 3DGS renderer "in the wild" remains notoriously fragile. A fundamental bottleneck lies in the compact, local support of the Gaussian primitives. Standard photometric objectives implicitly rely on spatial overlap; if severe camera misalignment places the rendered object outside the target's local footprint, gradients strictly vanish, leaving the optimizer stranded. We introduce SpectralSplats, a robust tracking framework that resolves this "vanishing gradient" problem by shifting the optimization objective from the spatial to the frequency domain. By supervising the rendered image via a set of global complex sinusoidal features (Spectral Moments), we construct a global basin of attraction, ensuring that a valid, directional gradient toward the target exists across the entire image domain, even when pixel overlap is completely nonexistent. To harness this global basin without introducing periodic local minima associated with high frequencies, we derive a principled Frequency Annealing schedule from first principles, gracefully transitioning the optimizer from global convexity to precise spatial alignment. We demonstrate that SpectralSplats acts as a seamless, drop-in replacement for spatial losses across diverse deformation parameterizations (from MLPs to sparse control points), successfully recovering complex deformations even from severely misaligned initializations where standard appearance-based tracking catastrophically fails.

V^3: Viewing Volumetric Videos on Mobiles via Streamable 2D Dynamic Gaussians

Experiencing high-fidelity volumetric video as seamlessly as 2D videos is a long-held dream. However, current dynamic 3DGS methods, despite their high rendering quality, face challenges in streaming on mobile devices due to computational and bandwidth constraints. In this paper, we introduce V3(Viewing Volumetric Videos), a novel approach that enables high-quality mobile rendering through the streaming of dynamic Gaussians. Our key innovation is to view dynamic 3DGS as 2D videos, facilitating the use of hardware video codecs. Additionally, we propose a two-stage training strategy to reduce storage requirements with rapid training speed. The first stage employs hash encoding and shallow MLP to learn motion, then reduces the number of Gaussians through pruning to meet the streaming requirements, while the second stage fine tunes other Gaussian attributes using residual entropy loss and temporal loss to improve temporal continuity. This strategy, which disentangles motion and appearance, maintains high rendering quality with compact storage requirements. Meanwhile, we designed a multi-platform player to decode and render 2D Gaussian videos. Extensive experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of V3, outperforming other methods by enabling high-quality rendering and streaming on common devices, which is unseen before. As the first to stream dynamic Gaussians on mobile devices, our companion player offers users an unprecedented volumetric video experience, including smooth scrolling and instant sharing. Gaussian Splatting with Localized Points Management

Point management is a critical component in optimizing 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) models, as the point initiation (e.g., via structure from motion) is distributionally inappropriate. Typically, the Adaptive Density Control (ADC) algorithm is applied, leveraging view-averaged gradient magnitude thresholding for point densification, opacity thresholding for pruning, and regular all-points opacity reset. However, we reveal that this strategy is limited in tackling intricate/special image regions (e.g., transparent) as it is unable to identify all the 3D zones that require point densification, and lacking an appropriate mechanism to handle the ill-conditioned points with negative impacts (occlusion due to false high opacity). To address these limitations, we propose a Localized Point Management (LPM) strategy, capable of identifying those error-contributing zones in the highest demand for both point addition and geometry calibration. Zone identification is achieved by leveraging the underlying multiview geometry constraints, with the guidance of image rendering errors. We apply point densification in the identified zone, whilst resetting the opacity of those points residing in front of these regions so that a new opportunity is created to correct ill-conditioned points. Serving as a versatile plugin, LPM can be seamlessly integrated into existing 3D Gaussian Splatting models. Experimental evaluation across both static 3D and dynamic 4D scenes validate the efficacy of our LPM strategy in boosting a variety of existing 3DGS models both quantitatively and qualitatively. Notably, LPM improves both vanilla 3DGS and SpaceTimeGS to achieve state-of-the-art rendering quality while retaining real-time speeds, outperforming on challenging datasets such as Tanks & Temples and the Neural 3D Video Dataset.

Gaussian-Flow: 4D Reconstruction with Dynamic 3D Gaussian Particle

We introduce Gaussian-Flow, a novel point-based approach for fast dynamic scene reconstruction and real-time rendering from both multi-view and monocular videos. In contrast to the prevalent NeRF-based approaches hampered by slow training and rendering speeds, our approach harnesses recent advancements in point-based 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS). Specifically, a novel Dual-Domain Deformation Model (DDDM) is proposed to explicitly model attribute deformations of each Gaussian point, where the time-dependent residual of each attribute is captured by a polynomial fitting in the time domain, and a Fourier series fitting in the frequency domain. The proposed DDDM is capable of modeling complex scene deformations across long video footage, eliminating the need for training separate 3DGS for each frame or introducing an additional implicit neural field to model 3D dynamics. Moreover, the explicit deformation modeling for discretized Gaussian points ensures ultra-fast training and rendering of a 4D scene, which is comparable to the original 3DGS designed for static 3D reconstruction. Our proposed approach showcases a substantial efficiency improvement, achieving a 5times faster training speed compared to the per-frame 3DGS modeling. In addition, quantitative results demonstrate that the proposed Gaussian-Flow significantly outperforms previous leading methods in novel view rendering quality. VideoRFSplat: Direct Scene-Level Text-to-3D Gaussian Splatting Generation with Flexible Pose and Multi-View Joint Modeling

We propose VideoRFSplat, a direct text-to-3D model leveraging a video generation model to generate realistic 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) for unbounded real-world scenes. To generate diverse camera poses and unbounded spatial extent of real-world scenes, while ensuring generalization to arbitrary text prompts, previous methods fine-tune 2D generative models to jointly model camera poses and multi-view images. However, these methods suffer from instability when extending 2D generative models to joint modeling due to the modality gap, which necessitates additional models to stabilize training and inference. In this work, we propose an architecture and a sampling strategy to jointly model multi-view images and camera poses when fine-tuning a video generation model. Our core idea is a dual-stream architecture that attaches a dedicated pose generation model alongside a pre-trained video generation model via communication blocks, generating multi-view images and camera poses through separate streams. This design reduces interference between the pose and image modalities. Additionally, we propose an asynchronous sampling strategy that denoises camera poses faster than multi-view images, allowing rapidly denoised poses to condition multi-view generation, reducing mutual ambiguity and enhancing cross-modal consistency. Trained on multiple large-scale real-world datasets (RealEstate10K, MVImgNet, DL3DV-10K, ACID), VideoRFSplat outperforms existing text-to-3D direct generation methods that heavily depend on post-hoc refinement via score distillation sampling, achieving superior results without such refinement.

PhysGM: Large Physical Gaussian Model for Feed-Forward 4D Synthesis

Despite advances in physics-based 3D motion synthesis, current methods face key limitations: reliance on pre-reconstructed 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) built from dense multi-view images with time-consuming per-scene optimization; physics integration via either inflexible, hand-specified attributes or unstable, optimization-heavy guidance from video models using Score Distillation Sampling (SDS); and naive concatenation of prebuilt 3DGS with physics modules, which ignores physical information embedded in appearance and yields suboptimal performance. To address these issues, we propose PhysGM, a feed-forward framework that jointly predicts 3D Gaussian representation and physical properties from a single image, enabling immediate simulation and high-fidelity 4D rendering. Unlike slow appearance-agnostic optimization methods, we first pre-train a physics-aware reconstruction model that directly infers both Gaussian and physical parameters. We further refine the model with Direct Preference Optimization (DPO), aligning simulations with the physically plausible reference videos and avoiding the high-cost SDS optimization. To address the absence of a supporting dataset for this task, we propose PhysAssets, a dataset of 50K+ 3D assets annotated with physical properties and corresponding reference videos. Experiments show that PhysGM produces high-fidelity 4D simulations from a single image in one minute, achieving a significant speedup over prior work while delivering realistic renderings. Our project page is at:https://hihixiaolv.github.io/PhysGM.github.io/

MUVOD: A Novel Multi-view Video Object Segmentation Dataset and A Benchmark for 3D Segmentation

The application of methods based on Neural Radiance Fields (NeRF) and 3D Gaussian Splatting (3D GS) have steadily gained popularity in the field of 3D object segmentation in static scenes. These approaches demonstrate efficacy in a range of 3D scene understanding and editing tasks. Nevertheless, the 4D object segmentation of dynamic scenes remains an underexplored field due to the absence of a sufficiently extensive and accurately labelled multi-view video dataset. In this paper, we present MUVOD, a new multi-view video dataset for training and evaluating object segmentation in reconstructed real-world scenarios. The 17 selected scenes, describing various indoor or outdoor activities, are collected from different sources of datasets originating from various types of camera rigs. Each scene contains a minimum of 9 views and a maximum of 46 views. We provide 7830 RGB images (30 frames per video) with their corresponding segmentation mask in 4D motion, meaning that any object of interest in the scene could be tracked across temporal frames of a given view or across different views belonging to the same camera rig. This dataset, which contains 459 instances of 73 categories, is intended as a basic benchmark for the evaluation of multi-view video segmentation methods. We also present an evaluation metric and a baseline segmentation approach to encourage and evaluate progress in this evolving field. Additionally, we propose a new benchmark for 3D object segmentation task with a subset of annotated multi-view images selected from our MUVOD dataset. This subset contains 50 objects of different conditions in different scenarios, providing a more comprehensive analysis of state-of-the-art 3D object segmentation methods. Our proposed MUVOD dataset is available at https://volumetric-repository.labs.b-com.com/#/muvod.

3D Dynamic Fluid Assets from Single-View Videos with Generative Gaussian Splatting

While the generation of 3D content from single-view images has been extensively studied, the creation of physically consistent 3D dynamic scenes from videos remains in its early stages. We propose a novel framework leveraging generative 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) models to extract and re-simulate 3D dynamic fluid objects from single-view videos using simulation methods. The fluid geometry represented by 3DGS is initially generated and optimized from single-view images, then denoised, densified, and aligned across frames. We estimate the fluid surface velocity using optical flow, propose a mainstream extraction algorithm to refine it. The 3D volumetric velocity field is then derived from the velocity of the fluid's enclosed surface. The velocity field is therewith converted into a divergence-free, grid-based representation, enabling the optimization of simulation parameters through its differentiability across frames. This process outputs simulation-ready fluid assets with physical dynamics closely matching those observed in the source video. Our approach is applicable to various liquid fluids, including inviscid and viscous types, and allows users to edit the output geometry or extend movement durations seamlessly. This automatic method for creating 3D dynamic fluid assets from single-view videos, easily obtainable from the internet, shows great potential for generating large-scale 3D fluid assets at a low cost.

RGM: Reconstructing High-fidelity 3D Car Assets with Relightable 3D-GS Generative Model from a Single Image

The generation of high-quality 3D car assets is essential for various applications, including video games, autonomous driving, and virtual reality. Current 3D generation methods utilizing NeRF or 3D-GS as representations for 3D objects, generate a Lambertian object under fixed lighting and lack separated modelings for material and global illumination. As a result, the generated assets are unsuitable for relighting under varying lighting conditions, limiting their applicability in downstream tasks. To address this challenge, we propose a novel relightable 3D object generative framework that automates the creation of 3D car assets, enabling the swift and accurate reconstruction of a vehicle's geometry, texture, and material properties from a single input image. Our approach begins with introducing a large-scale synthetic car dataset comprising over 1,000 high-precision 3D vehicle models. We represent 3D objects using global illumination and relightable 3D Gaussian primitives integrating with BRDF parameters. Building on this representation, we introduce a feed-forward model that takes images as input and outputs both relightable 3D Gaussians and global illumination parameters. Experimental results demonstrate that our method produces photorealistic 3D car assets that can be seamlessly integrated into road scenes with different illuminations, which offers substantial practical benefits for industrial applications.

TAPESTRY: From Geometry to Appearance via Consistent Turntable Videos

Automatically generating photorealistic and self-consistent appearances for untextured 3D models is a critical challenge in digital content creation. The advancement of large-scale video generation models offers a natural approach: directly synthesizing 360-degree turntable videos (TTVs), which can serve not only as high-quality dynamic previews but also as an intermediate representation to drive texture synthesis and neural rendering. However, existing general-purpose video diffusion models struggle to maintain strict geometric consistency and appearance stability across the full range of views, making their outputs ill-suited for high-quality 3D reconstruction. To this end, we introduce TAPESTRY, a framework for generating high-fidelity TTVs conditioned on explicit 3D geometry. We reframe the 3D appearance generation task as a geometry-conditioned video diffusion problem: given a 3D mesh, we first render and encode multi-modal geometric features to constrain the video generation process with pixel-level precision, thereby enabling the creation of high-quality and consistent TTVs. Building upon this, we also design a method for downstream reconstruction tasks from the TTV input, featuring a multi-stage pipeline with 3D-Aware Inpainting. By rotating the model and performing a context-aware secondary generation, this pipeline effectively completes self-occluded regions to achieve full surface coverage. The videos generated by TAPESTRY are not only high-quality dynamic previews but also serve as a reliable, 3D-aware intermediate representation that can be seamlessly back-projected into UV textures or used to supervise neural rendering methods like 3DGS. This enables the automated creation of production-ready, complete 3D assets from untextured meshes. Experimental results demonstrate that our method outperforms existing approaches in both video consistency and final reconstruction quality.

ColorGS: High-fidelity Surgical Scene Reconstruction with Colored Gaussian Splatting

High-fidelity reconstruction of deformable tissues from endoscopic videos remains challenging due to the limitations of existing methods in capturing subtle color variations and modeling global deformations. While 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) enables efficient dynamic reconstruction, its fixed per-Gaussian color assignment struggles with intricate textures, and linear deformation modeling fails to model consistent global deformation. To address these issues, we propose ColorGS, a novel framework that integrates spatially adaptive color encoding and enhanced deformation modeling for surgical scene reconstruction. First, we introduce Colored Gaussian Primitives, which employ dynamic anchors with learnable color parameters to adaptively encode spatially varying textures, significantly improving color expressiveness under complex lighting and tissue similarity. Second, we design an Enhanced Deformation Model (EDM) that combines time-aware Gaussian basis functions with learnable time-independent deformations, enabling precise capture of both localized tissue deformations and global motion consistency caused by surgical interactions. Extensive experiments on DaVinci robotic surgery videos and benchmark datasets (EndoNeRF, StereoMIS) demonstrate that ColorGS achieves state-of-the-art performance, attaining a PSNR of 39.85 (1.5 higher than prior 3DGS-based methods) and superior SSIM (97.25\%) while maintaining real-time rendering efficiency. Our work advances surgical scene reconstruction by balancing high fidelity with computational practicality, critical for intraoperative guidance and AR/VR applications.

FreeArtGS: Articulated Gaussian Splatting Under Free-moving Scenario

The increasing demand for augmented reality and robotics is driving the need for articulated object reconstruction with high scalability. However, existing settings for reconstructing from discrete articulation states or casual monocular videos require non-trivial axis alignment or suffer from insufficient coverage, limiting their applicability. In this paper, we introduce FreeArtGS, a novel method for reconstructing articulated objects under free-moving scenario, a new setting with a simple setup and high scalability. FreeArtGS combines free-moving part segmentation with joint estimation and end-to-end optimization, taking only a monocular RGB-D video as input. By optimizing with the priors from off-the-shelf point-tracking and feature models, the free-moving part segmentation module identifies rigid parts from relative motion under unconstrained capture. The joint estimation module calibrates the unified object-to-camera poses and recovers joint type and axis robustly from part segmentation. Finally, 3DGS-based end-to-end optimization is implemented to jointly reconstruct visual textures, geometry, and joint angles of the articulated object. We conduct experiments on two benchmarks and real-world free-moving articulated objects. Experimental results demonstrate that FreeArtGS consistently excels in reconstructing free-moving articulated objects and remains highly competitive in previous reconstruction settings, proving itself a practical and effective solution for realistic asset generation.
