T-014 (partial): commit tools/bench.js, wire a temporary /__bench endpoint
Claude +1: Claude Sonnet 5Unverified signaturetools/bench.js is the committed, re-runnable form of the two throwaway feasibility spikes (docs/analysis/00): natural AI-vs-AI matches via tools/selfplay.js, and large armies seeded directly in contact on a Gigantic map, both timed tick by tick. Adds a memory-per-match measurement neither original spike took, via server/session.js's createSession. /__bench (tools/serve.js) is gated the same way /__data-probe already is (DATA_DIR set = production only) so the real Space hardware can be measured directly. It defaults to a fast `quick` run so an accidental hit costs milliseconds; ?full=1 runs the complete suite this task actually needs. This endpoint is temporary by design — it blocks the single- threaded server for the duration of a full run — and will be removed or re-gated in a follow-up commit once the real measurement has been taken. 9/9 new tests, full suite 2,479/2,479 (ailab.test.js unaffected, not re-run here), typecheck clean.
