| <p><b>Source:</b> the public <a href="https://api.usaspending.gov/">USAspending.gov API</a> (spending by geography and by category), place of performance, for the federal fiscal year shown (October to September). <b>Contracts</b> = definitive contracts, purchase orders, delivery orders and BPA calls (award types A–D). <b>Grants</b> = block, formula and project grants and cooperative agreements. Amounts are obligations, which can be negative after de-obligations. Population is the figure USAspending reports for each area.</p> | |
