Public access

Accessibility.

The site is built so its company, research and evidence records can be inspected with a keyboard, assistive technology and a range of screen sizes.

Approach

The design targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA practices. This is an engineering target, not a third-party certification. Accessibility checks are part of release review and are repeated as content and components change.

Current controls

  • A skip link and semantic page landmarks.
  • One primary heading per page and ordered heading structure.
  • A keyboard-operated mobile navigation disclosure with Escape support.
  • Visible focus indicators and minimum-size interactive targets.
  • Reduced-motion handling and no scroll-jacking or parallax.
  • Text alternatives and intrinsic dimensions for meaningful images.
  • Evidence states expressed in words as well as colour.

Known limits

Some dense evidence tables may require horizontal movement on narrow screens. External services, including ORCID, Zenodo, GitHub and Companies House, are outside this site’s control and may have different accessibility behaviour.

Feedback

If a page, control or document prevents access, identify the address and the format or adjustment needed. The company will use that report to investigate a practical correction.
