Metrics were flooding performance.jsonl with duplicate entries because compute_metrics() was called every 10-15s after the simulation ended, writing the same degraded RMSE value thousands of times. load_jsonl reads the last 2000 lines, which were all identical -> flat line. - Throttle _append_performance_log: skip write if RMSE changed <1% and less than 30s since last write - Emit metrics snapshot every 10 steps in simulation so the full drift curve is captured during the run - Change --delay 0 -> 0.05s so simulation spans ~30s and the background task fires during it, adding more data points50145b8
