Export button downloads run_summary, enabled only when complete
Yan Wang +1: Claude Opus 4.8Export button previously downloaded selections_*.json. Change it to build and download the full run_summary_*.json (same payload as the auto-save on completion), and disable it until annotation is finished. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>bae6d99 -
Fix HF commit rate-limit (429/500) on annotation save
Yan Wang +1: Claude Opus 4.8Every annotation state change triggered an immediate apiUpsertAnnotation, and each upload_file is a git commit to the HF dataset repo. Under concurrent annotators this overran HF's per-repo commit queue (429 'concurrency queue', transient 500s) and dropped saves. Frontend: debounce cloud saves (coalesce changes, flush at most every 8s with a 20s max-wait cap) and flush via sendBeacon on page hide; keep localStorage saves immediate. Backend: retry upload with exponential backoff + jitter on 429/5xx, and only call create_repo once per process. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>f08ebfc -
Auto-unregister stale service workers on app load
Yan Wang +1: Claude Opus 4.8Older CRA-style PWA builds may have left a service worker registered that pins users to an outdated bundle. This app uses no service worker, so unregister any leftover SW and clear its caches on startup. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>6c8eae9 -
Stop Load Example from polluting cache; add Load Latest (Server) button
Yan Wang +1: Claude Opus 4.8- loadExample no longer persists to localStorage (example is in-memory only), so clicking it can no longer trap users on fake tickers. - Extract loadLatestFromServer() shared by boot() and a new 'Load Latest (Server)' button, so users can return to the real server dataset at any time without a page refresh. Fix stale-cache bug: make dataset boot server-first
Yan Wang +1: Claude Opus 4.8The boot() flow checked localStorage first and returned early, so users with a cached (sometimes fake 5-ticker) dataset never refetched the real server dataset. Reorder to server-first: fetch latest and overwrite local cache; fall back to local cache only when the server is unreachable; show the empty state instead of auto-generating fake tickers. This self-heals already-affected users on next load. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>8d498ea
