Move perception's default model from gpt-4.1-nano to gpt-4.1-mini
Benchmarked with a dedicated 7-scenario harness (debug_perception_comparison.py, scenarios chosen to avoid classify_perception's hardcoded keyword-gate overrides so they actually test the LLM's own judgment): nano missed 2 of 7 — recognizing standalone conversational brevity, and picking the right tactic for a nostalgic register. mini matched Claude Haiku 4.5 and Sonnet 5 on every scored case, at a fraction of their cost — no case found where the larger models outperform mini here, so mini is the right default rather than an upgrade to Haiku/Sonnet. Add per-step model override dashboard for classification/perception/reply
classify_perception.py and classify_chat_helper.py previously bypassed the Fast/Smart mode toggle entirely, hardcoded to OpenAI models via a raw openai.OpenAI() client. Switches both to the shared litellm-backed client so Anthropic models are reachable, adds an optional model= override threaded from the request body through run_chat_app, and exposes it in the web Settings panel as three dropdowns (Default/Haiku/Sonnet per step) for testing cost/quality tradeoffs independently of the existing Fast/Smart toggle.
