The httpx.ReadTimeout error occurs because the ZeroGPU scheduler is taking longer than 5 seconds to respond to your request. This is a client-side timeout (your app giving up on waiting), not a server-side rejection.
Why it worked before: The ZeroGPU platform load varies. Previously, the scheduler likely responded quickly (under 5s). Currently, due to higher traffic or platform latency, it's taking longer, causing your app to time out before the task is even scheduled. I have applied a robust fix that addresses both the cause (scheduling delays) and the symptom (timeout error): Increased Timeout (New): I monkeypatched httpx to increase the default timeout from 5s to 90s. This ensures your app waits patiently for the scheduler instead of crashing during peak load. Optimized Duration (Kept): The dynamic duration estimate I added earlier is still important—it helps your task get a better priority in the queue once it is scheduled.9016c46
