New endpoints: - POST /classify-image: multipart image upload, returns species/breed/confidence/ms - GET /model-health: model load status and metadata Architecture: - DualHeadViT: frozen ViT backbone + head_species + head_breed - Lazy loading on first request - Fallback to pretrained ViT if fine-tuned weights not present - Confidence = geometric mean of species and breed top probabilities Tests (18 passed): - Schema validation, species/breed range checks - Content-type rejection (415), bad image (400), PNG support - Mock-based: no model download needed in CI Docs: ml_backend/README.md updated with full API reference + cURL/Python/JS examplesbf841b5
