The Space's hardware tier is ZeroGPU (zero-a10g), which requires at
least one @spaces.GPU-decorated function to be detected at startup, or
the platform kills the app with 'No @spaces.GPU function detected
during startup' - even though this parser is pure CPU work. Downgrading
the hardware tier to CPU basic via API requires a PRO subscription, so
this adds a no-op probe function instead; it's never called.
Disable Gradio SSR mode to avoid Node.js proxy exiting silently
The Space logs showed the app start successfully then immediately
'Stopping Node.js server...' with no error - gradio 6.x's SSR feature
spawns a Node proxy in front of the Python server, which doesn't survive
in this Space's Docker image. ssr_mode=False uses plain client-side
rendering instead, verified working locally (server stays up, full
gradio_client round-trip succeeds).
