Order dropdown cases by the paper's HEADLINE_CASES groupingβ
Yong Sheng Koay +1: Claude Sonnet 5Was alphabetical. Now follows 02_paper_results.ipynb's HEADLINE_CASES table order (the combined headline plots): Lorentz -> SU(3) -> SU(2) -> U(1) -> Theory extension -> Anomaly. Unlisted cases (future additions) fall back to alphabetical, appended after the ordered ones. Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>2f7040f -
Fix escape-sequence bug in case descriptions, exclude acc_absβ
Yong Sheng Koay +1: Claude Sonnet 5Several entries used LaTeX-style backslash notation (\rightarrow, \bar{...}) inside plain (non-raw) Python strings β \r and \b are real Python escapes (carriage return, backspace), so e.g. every "\rightarrow" was silently corrupted to a stray control char + "ightarrow" at parse time. Switched to plain Unicode symbols (psi_R, phi, -> arrow) instead, since gr.Markdown here has no LaTeX rendering configured anyway. Also fixed a few typos (gurantee, "in out" -> "in our", "as suc" -> "as such", duplicate "of of"). trajectory_frames.py: added EXCLUDED_CASES, currently {acc_abs} β data stays on disk, just no longer shown in the dropdown. Sync updated trajectory GIF assets, add 2 new cases, fix paper wordingβ
Yong Sheng Koay +1: Claude Sonnet 5- Re-synced all case frame/GIF assets from the source notebook's assets/ dir: 7 existing cases had regenerated content (s2l, s2r, su3_1to3, su3_1to3bar, susy_1f, susy_1f_s, susy_all), plus 2 new cases (add_s2r_r2l_e1, susy_2f) with human-readable labels added. - Corrected the intro text: the linked arXiv paper introduced the BART-Lagrangian model itself, not the steering work shown in this demo β that's part of a follow-up paper, not yet published. Expand trajectory explorer to all 18 cases, add Play button, revamp copyβ
Yong Sheng Koay +1: Claude Sonnet 5- trajectory_frames.py auto-discovers cases from assets/trajectory_frames/ (18 now, was 1), with human-readable labels for the dropdown and a gif_path() lookup for the assembled per-case GIF. - Slider is now frame-index based (0..N-1) rather than raw alpha value β one case (acc_abs) has non-uniform alpha spacing, so indexing by position is correct for all cases uniformly; an "Ξ± = ..." label shows the actual value for the selected frame. - Added a "Play animation" button that swaps in the case's assembled GIF (base64 <img>, read lazily per-click β embedding all 18 gifs upfront would bloat the page) in place of the static frame image. - Hero GIF at the top is now the s2r case's assembled GIF instead of the placeholder trajectory GIF, directly tied to the explorer below it. - Renamed "Model sanity check" -> "Example BART-L generation", noted steering generation isn't available yet, and pointed to JoseEliel's Space for human-readable LaTeX-rendered generation. - Added fβ¦886d081 -
Add steering trajectory explorer: case dropdown + alpha sliderβ
Yong Sheng Koay +1: Claude Sonnet 5Uses pre-exported per-alpha frame PNGs (assets/trajectory_frames/<case>/ frame_NNN_alphaX.XX.png) rather than the looping GIF, so the user can pick a specific case + steering strength and see that exact frame. trajectory_frames.py discovers frames per case from the filename-encoded alpha value; CASES currently has one entry (s2r), more to be added as more frame sets are provided. Also adds *.png to .gitattributes' LFS rules (HF rejects plain binary pushes; PNGs weren't covered before since only the GIF existed). Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>8e6dc30
