- .github/workflows/test.yml: runs pytest -v on push to main and on
every PR targeting main. Python 3.11 + pip cache. Installs the
package in editable mode with [dev] extras (pytest + pytest-mock).
- .github/pull_request_template.md: prompts for what/why/verification
+ a pre-merge checklist (tests, eval re-runs for pipeline changes,
no secrets).
This sets up the PR-based workflow going forward. The initial commit
itself lands on main directly since the convention starts after this
infrastructure is in place.
