feat(ui): starting state in the status bar; show the goal as soon as Steer is pressed Running
- On huggingface.co the app runs in an iframe as tall as the app, so the fixed "Starting the robot" popup sat at the bottom of the page, off screen. The status bar now carries the starting state itself: a yellow tint, a moving stripe, and the setup message. - The goal bubble used to appear only after GPU and simulator setup. send_goal now shows it at once, run_session starts with the pending commands' bubbles, and drive()/apply() skip re-adding them, so it never shows twice. feat(ui): focus on the demo: compact hero, display-only skills, starting popup
- Compact two-column hero, so the scene and conversation come first. - Skill chips are display only; the planner picks instructions and visitors steer from the conversation panel. Drop the chip click wiring and the command_sender plumbing (and with it the task_N API endpoints). - Scene Q&A: the Ask box sits above the answers, like the goal box above the task reasoning. - A "Starting the robot" popup for the starting state (GPU wait, simulator, policy), dropped as soon as the robot runs, stops or fails. fix(planner): drop scale-to-zero timeout that the Endpoints API rejects
With MIN_REPLICA=1 the API refuses --scale-to-zero-timeout ("can only be set when minReplica is 0"), so `deploy` failed before creating anything. Remove the flag and note how to switch to cold starts instead. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>d56a618 -
