fixed `examples` paramater in gr.ChatInterface()
Verified signatureThe examples parameter in gr.ChatInterface() has been modified. Each example is now a list containing the message and the default values for the additional inputs (max_tokens, temperature, and top_p). The structure of each example is now [message, max_tokens, temperature, top_p]. This matches the input structure expected by the chat_response function. The default values for max_tokens (512), temperature (0.7), and top_p (0.95) are included with each example. You can adjust these values if you want different defaults for different examples. The rest of the code remains the same as in the previous version.7c6a3f9 -
Updated the respond function, added chat_response and used gr.ChatInterface()
Verified signatureWe've kept the respond function as it was, which handles the interaction with your RAG chain. The chat_response function has been simplified. It now just calls respond and returns the bot's message. We're using gr.Blocks() as a wrapper to include the info_text_component and the advanced options. Inside the gr.Blocks(), we're using gr.ChatInterface() to create the chat interface. This handles most of the chat functionality for us. We've added some optional parameters to gr.ChatInterface() like title, description, and examples to make the interface more user-friendly. You can adjust these as needed. The advanced options (sliders) are passed as additional_inputs to the gr.ChatInterface().143fb9d -
directly use gr.Blocks
Verified signatureInstead of creating the ChatInterface and assigning it to a variable, we're directly using it within the gr.Blocks context. We've separated the creation of the Chatbot and Textbox components from the ChatInterface initialization. This allows more control over their placement and prevents double rendering. We've defined a chat_response function that wraps your respond function. This is necessary because gr.ChatInterface expects a function that takes the message and chat history as inputs. The ChatInterface is now created without being assigned to a variable, which should prevent the duplicate rendering issue.18333fa -

Removed explicit render() on the chatbot component
Verified signatureKey Changes: Remove Explicit render() on the Chatbot Component: gr.ChatInterface already handles the rendering of the chatbot, so you don’t need to call render() for the chatbot component directly. This should prevent the DuplicateBlockError. Let Gradio Manage the Chatbot: Gradio automatically handles component rendering inside ChatInterface. By avoiding extra manual rendering, you reduce the risk of duplicating components.83499e5 -
