| - End-to-end evaluation invokes the retriever through LangChain and the RAG system through `RunnableLambda`; retrieval is not recomputed outside the LangChain result path. |

| The sandbox cannot resolve PyPI. For framework-source validation only, a test harness supplied minimal compatibility modules for unavailable peripheral dependencies such as LangSmith tracing. Those test shims are not part of this repository and do not replace the RAG implementation. |
