MXFP8 for Raw?
Is there any chance we can get MXFP8 for Raw as well please?
Measured data point for the Turbo side of this question. I ran the mxfp8 Turbo build against the BF16 Turbo reference, seed-locked, RTX 4090, 1024px, 8 steps, 12 versioned prompts x 8 seeds, n=96 pairs.
mxfp8 came out at LPIPS 0.115, PSNR 24.0, ImageReward delta +0.004. The fp8_scaled build on the same protocol reads LPIPS 0.120, PSNR 23.6, IR delta -0.024. So on Turbo at 8 steps the two are within noise of each other on quality, and both sit well behind the int8 convrot build (LPIPS 0.066, PSNR 27.7).
Whether this transfers to Raw at 50 steps is an open question, more steps give errors more chances to compound and Raw has no distillation to lean on. If an mxfp8 Raw build ships I will run the same protocol on it. Harness and per-pair scores at https://github.com/sztlink/dit-score
