Is it possible to feed video ref for target vid?

Face swapping works well, but using just a single reference image lacks character consistency. For instance, if the target video features person A speaking, and I provide a neutral portrait of person B as a reference, person B's speaking expressions in the result don't look natural—they awkwardly try to mimic person A's expression instead of moving like person B would.
It seems like using a video as a reference (like in standard ref2video workflows) would solve this issue significantly. Is there a way to achieve this?
