How to use Yasas1994/Jaeger with TF-Keras:
# Note: 'keras<3.x' or 'tf_keras' must be installed (legacy), and from_pretrained_keras was removed in huggingface_hub 1.0. # See https://github.com/keras-team/tf-keras for more details. # !pip install "huggingface_hub<1.0" tf_keras from huggingface_hub import from_pretrained_keras model = from_pretrained_keras("Yasas1994/Jaeger") - Notebooks

Jaeger models
Model weights for Jaeger, a homology-free deep-learning tool to detect bacteriophage and eukaryotic virus sequences in metagenomic assemblies.
Repository layout
Each model lives in its own top-level directory:

Usage
Install Jaeger, then download a model:
pip install jaeger-bio[cpu] # or [gpu]
jaeger predict -i contigs.fasta -o results -m jaeger_448931d3_1.3M_fragment
To download directly from the Hub instead of the built-in catalog:
from huggingface_hub import snapshot_download
snapshot_download(
repo_id="Yasas1994/Jaeger",
allow_patterns="jaeger_448931d3_1.3M_fragment/**",
local_dir="~/jaeger_models",
)
Then register the path with jaeger register-models --path ~/jaeger_models.
