Evidence over hype
Cortist is an independent AI evidence and forecasting project. We follow consequential developments in artificial intelligence, preserve their original sources, and examine the gap between what was promised, what the evidence shows, and what remains unresolved.
Our work focuses on seven areas: AGI, superintelligence, AI safety, AI agents, jobs, medicine, and energy.

Public, machine-readable evidence
The Cortist Reality Ledger provides an openly accessible index of versioned evidence records:
Each record aims to distinguish original research, company-reported statements, independently established findings, and outstanding verification questions. Historical snapshots are retained when material updates are published.
Important: These public data are not a certification of AI systems, a guarantee of independently verified forecasts, or a blanket license to redistribute third-party material. Refer to the original sources and their respective terms before reusing content.
How we work
- Document the original claim, its source, date, and scope.
- Evaluate what the available evidence establishes — and what it does not.
- Track relevant follow-up research without silently rewriting the original record.
- Explain changes and uncertainties clearly to readers and researchers.
