Request for Reconsideration of Access to SAM-Audio-Large
Dear SAM-Audio Team,
I am a master's student working on audio and speech research, and I have registered for the ICASSP 2027 Audio Editing Challenge, Track 2 — Agent Track.
The official challenge baseline explicitly uses SAM-Audio-Large for source separation, so access to the model is important for reproducing the official baseline and conducting fair experimental comparisons.
I previously submitted an access request for facebook/sam-audio-large, but unfortunately it was rejected. I would sincerely appreciate it if you could reconsider my request.
My intended use is strictly for academic research and participation in the ICASSP 2027 Audio Editing Challenge. The model will be deployed locally for research experiments only. I will comply with the SAM License and will not redistribute the model weights or use them for unauthorized commercial purposes.
If any additional information is required regarding my research affiliation, intended usage, or challenge participation, I would be happy to provide it.
