Apple Silicon port with image support: pip install intern-decision-mlx

I made a community port of the model that runs locally on Apple silicon using MLX, including support for image input.

demo

Installation is pretty simple:

pip install intern-decision-mlx

Then you can run the bundled example with:

intern-decision-mlx decide --brief

For screenshots, --max-side 1024 keeps 1080p images around 0.9 s.

I tested it on an 8 GB M2 MacBook Air: about 0.9 s per 1080p screenshot with --max-side 1024, about 2.1 GB of memory, and everything runs offline.

I compared it against the lab's PyTorch reference on 30 test requests (text and images): it picked the same answer on all 67 questions, with probabilities within about 0.02.

The package also includes a local server with the same API shape as Jev: POST /v1/systemone, with image support included.

For now, there's one important limitation: only the 0.8B version is supported. The 4B model doesn't fit on an 8 GB machine.

And thanks to the lab for releasing the model under Apache-2.0, which makes projects like this possible.
