Recent Activity
Computational Neuropathology Lab
University of Wisconsin–Madison
We develop artificial intelligence and machine-learning methods for computational neuropathology. Our research integrates digital histopathology, whole-slide imaging, spatial transcriptomics, and multimodal data to improve disease quantification, biomarker discovery, and understanding of Alzheimer’s disease and related neurodegenerative disorders.
Research areas
- Computational and digital neuropathology
- Deep learning for whole-slide image analysis
- Spatial transcriptomics and multimodal data integration
- Interpretable AI and quantitative tissue phenotyping
- Alzheimer’s disease, Lewy body disease, and related dementias
