Hermes–ALLI–Astra Stack
This repository holds falsifiable releases of the Astra persistent-memory and bounded-autonomy research stack. The language model is treated as a replaceable interface; persistent state, temporal relations, permission gates, and verified learning remain in the kernel.
Current release: Astra v0.3
The v0.3 candidate adds a persistent homeostatic action regulator and tests the HSCM-v6 computational analogue, directed temporal memory, cuckoo coalition search, and null-gated multiscale “Turtles” against simpler baselines.
| Result | Outcome |
|---|---|
| Applicable checks | 60 passed |
| Best non-HSCM temporal baseline | 66.6% |
| HSCM + temporal topology | 49.6% |
| HSCM parity gap | -17.0 percentage points |
| Cuckoo coalition search | 46.8% |
| Turtle detections | 0 / 500 |
The negative results are intentional and preserved. HSCM, cuckoo reranking, and Turtles do not earn default workspace control in this release. Cosine remains semantic admission, the directed temporal torus remains the current autonomy substrate, and HSCM remains an experimental sidecar.

Claims boundary
This is an engineered computational analogue. It demonstrates connected software state, causal influence, bounded background proposal formation, and verified-only regulatory learning. It does not validate HSCM as fundamental physics, visual understanding, consciousness, biological life, or emergent spacetime.
