Traditionally, weather forecasting relies on physics-based numerical weather prediction (NWP), which is computationally heavy and highly cost-ineffective. We are changing the paradigm. The Zeus Subnet leverages advanced AI models on a decentralized, incentive-driven framework.

• Optimized for Energy Markets: We target hourly forecasts out to 15 days for surface variables that dictate power and gas books: 2m temperature, 100m eastward/northward wind, and surface solar radiation.
• Dynamic Attention Shifting: Rather than treating every grid cell equally, our scoring and incentives dynamically shift focus based on commercial needs—adapting variables, resolutions, and geographic scalars (e.g., European/German markets) to improve portfolio outcomes.
• Trustless Verification: This Hugging Face organization hosts our public dataset (checkout Zeus-API-forecast) and tutorials, supporting trustless checks of forecast quality. Businesses can verify predictions directly by matching revealed dataset bytes to on-chain commitments.
