OPUS-MT English → Spanish (CoreML)

This is a CoreML conversion of Helsinki-NLP/opus-mt-en-es.

The original model was created by Helsinki-NLP at the University of Helsinki. All training, data, architecture and translation-quality credit belongs to Helsinki-NLP and the original authors. This package was converted by serggiu and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Helsinki-NLP.

Changes

• converted from PyTorch to CoreML/FP16 using coremltools
• tokenizer files packaged alongside the encoder and decoder
• no retraining or fine-tuning

This is not a transformers model. It is intended for on-device CoreML use. The CoreML runtime compiles the .mlpackage files for the local machine on first use.
