Apply for a GPU community grant: Academic project
Hello Hugging Face team,
I would like to request ZeroGPU community support for FloodDiffusion 2, our open-source research project on efficient, controllable streaming human motion generation.
The interactive demo generates human motion continuously while users control a target path with camera-relative WASD input, switch between four editable text prompts, and adjust movement speeds. A 3D viewer displays the generated character and the input path, including the conditions still being processed inside the model's streaming window. This lets researchers, animation developers, and students directly explore online text and path control.
The demo is implemented in Gradio and PyTorch, uses our released motion checkpoint and the original UMT5 text encoder, and already runs successfully on ZeroGPU. We have verified real-time 30 FPS playback, live prompt switching, and continuous path control. The current per-user ZeroGPU daily quota is limiting interactive testing and exploration.
We would like to retain ZeroGPU for this public research demo, so visitors can run independent interactive sessions through the shared GPU infrastructure. Each motion session is limited to 55 seconds within a 60-second GPU call; GPU resources are released when it ends. The demo already has ZeroGPU hosting access. Our request concerns whether additional sponsored ZeroGPU usage or academic quota support is available for interactive research demonstrations. If this is outside the standard community grant program, could you advise on the appropriate route? We are requesting support for inference and interactive demonstrations, not model training.
