### *Your Other You*
|
| 15 |
+
|
| 16 |

**AI designed for sovereignty and security.**
|
| 17 |
+
|
| 18 |
+
From GPU kernels to autonomous agents — we control the entire stack so you control yours.

## Why we exist
|
| 30 |
+
|
| 31 |
+
Most AI assistance is rented. Your screen, your files, and your reasoning traces leave the building, and the terms can change under you at any time. For organizations that can't afford to trust the cloud, that trade simply isn't available.
|
| 32 |
+
|
| 33 |
+
So we stopped renting. OtherU runs on hardware you own, on networks you control, with no cloud dependency and nothing installed on the machine being driven. We build every layer ourselves — GPU kernels, inference engine, agent framework, hardware isolation — because full-stack control is the only way to actually promise sovereignty.
|
| 34 |
+
|
| 35 |
+
## What we build
|
| 36 |
+
|
| 37 |
+
| Component | What it does | Status |
|
| 38 |
+
|---|---|---|
|
| 39 |
+
| **DwarfStar (`ds4`)** | Inference engine. Single-model serving on AMD ROCm — currently DeepSeek-V4-Flash at ~14–16 tok/s decode on a Radeon 8060S, with KV-cache disk persistence for fast session recovery. | Stable |
|
| 40 |
+
| **Hermes Agent** | Multi-channel agent over Telegram, Signal and WhatsApp. Semantic memory recall, full-text conversation history, a reusable skill system, and delegation to parallel worker agents. | Stable |
|
| 41 |
+
| **OtherU Core** | Desktop autonomy. Sees the screen, reasons about the task, and drives the machine over a KVM link — real-time HDMI capture via WebRTC, mouse/keyboard injection, vision-model coordinate translation, optical-flow cursor tracking. Nothing is installed on the target. | Stable |
|
| 42 |
+
| **CompanyOS** | The infrastructure we run ourselves on: service health management, staggered Compose orchestration, and n8n workflows for mail, news, invoicing and SOW pipelines. | Stable |
|
| 43 |
+
|
| 44 |
+
### On the roadmap
|
| 45 |
+
|
| 46 |
+
- **OtherU Link** — mobile companion for voice and remote control.
|
| 47 |
+
- **OtherU Vault** — encrypted memory cartridge on a Framework Expansion Card, built for air-gapped deployments.
|
| 48 |
+
- **OtherU Eye** — KVM control card with HDMI capture and USB HID, replacing the external box.
|
| 49 |
+
|
| 50 |
+
## Reference hardware
|
| 51 |
+
|
| 52 |
+
Framework Desktop + JetKVM. Physically compact, locally controlled, and able to run fully air-gapped — the target machine is reached over video and USB HID rather than over a network.
|
| 53 |
+
|
| 54 |
+
## What lives here
|
| 55 |
+
|
| 56 |
+
This organization is the home for our public Hub work — the open-model tuning, quantization and compression we do to make capable models fit on hardware you can actually put in a rack you own. It's new and still empty; follow the org to catch the first releases.

## License
|
| 61 |
+
|
| 62 |
+
OtherU Core is released under the **Business Source License 1.1**. Research, evaluation, education, internal development and contributions back to the project are all permitted. Production use — running it as a paid service or shipping it inside a commercial product — requires a written commercial license.
|
| 63 |
+
|
| 64 |
+
On **2029-02-03** the license converts automatically to **Apache 2.0**, with unrestricted commercial use and a full patent grant. No action required, no renegotiation.
