Buckets:
| # patdev/linux-desktop bucket layout | |
| This bucket is the persistent source of truth for the Linux Desktop Space. | |
| ## Canonical system tree | |
| - `/system/active.json` — selected runtime release and artifact versions. | |
| - `/system/runtime/ACTIVE` — hot-reload application release. | |
| - `/system/runtime/releases/<release>/` — versioned application/runtime files. | |
| - `/system/artifacts/linux-amd64/<component>/<version>/` — immutable compiled/runtime bundles plus `manifest.json` and SHA-256. | |
| - `/system/boot/LAST_BOOT.json` — last bootstrap state written by the Space. | |
| - `/system/schema.json` — bucket layout schema. | |
| ## Persistent data | |
| New persistent data is grouped under `/state`, `/models`, `/cache` and `/workspaces`. | |
| Legacy top-level paths are retained during migration so existing browser/model sessions are not destroyed. | |
| ## Deployment rule | |
| The Space Docker image is a stable OS/bootstrap layer. Model runtimes and mutable application code are selected from this bucket. vLLM is restored lazily when its profile is selected. | |
